The 2023 Motor Transport Awards
For more than 36 years, the Motor Transport Awards have been the benchmark for excellence among UK road transport fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers and innovators.
The Motor Transport Awards are all about recognising the achievements of the people and operators who continued to deliver the goods in 2022.
Speedy Freight are delighted to be finalists in three categories of the 37th edition of the Awards.
Customer Care Award
The first award category in which we have been shortlisted is the Customer Care Award.
This award recognises outstanding performance in customer care and highlights companies that go out of their way to ensure that their operations are geared to consistently exceeding their customers’ expectations.
At Speedy Freight, customers are the bedrock that our business revolves around. Our services are designed to provide simple, high quality, and efficient logistics solutions that always put the customer first. We offer a problem-solving service to our customers, which is entirely bespoke around their individual requirements.
We owe this achievement to our teams across the country, whose dedication and passion drive us to go above and beyond for our clients every day.
New Talent Development Award
The second award category that we have been shortlisted for is the New Talent Development Award, a new award category for the 37th edition of the awards.
This recognition celebrates our innovative approach to logistics and our dedication to training and investing in our team members across our nationwide network.
Speedy Freight are passionate about the onboarding, retention, and development of our team members. The launch of our Training Academy in September 2021 was a new phase in our evolution, that highlighted our dedication and investment into developing new talent.
By making our existing and new people central to our plans, we have launched several initiatives to re-enforce a new Learning & Development pathway that runs through our entire network and encompasses all areas of our business.
Our Learning & Development is central to making us the best employer we can be and build a culture we can be proud of. Our industry-leading training is creating healthy working environments that evoke pride and engagement across the Speedy Freight network. The incredible feedback we continuously receive across our network, as well as making it to the finalist stage of this award, confirms the positive strives we’ve made.
Partnership Award with Ekornes
Finally, we’re thrilled to share that we have also been shortlisted for the Partnership Award, highlighting our longstanding relationship with Ekornes.
In addition to continuously offering additional logistics support, we always aim to build long-lasting relationships with our clients and offer scalable solutions to grow with them.
Since 2018, we’ve developed a partnership with Ekornes, offering everything from import services, to warehousing, fulfilment, and delivering with our specialist two-man delivery and white glove delivery services.
We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for this category as it highlights our breadth of services and dedication to tailoring our service offerings in relation to each of our clients’ needs.
