The Client
Our client is a global entertainment company that organises, promotes, and manages live events on an international level. As a leader in the live entertainment industry, their delivery needs are expansive, and cover several countries across the world.
To handle some of their delivery needs, our client has worked closely with our Speedy Freight Preston branch, who offer local same day courier services in Preston, as well as national and international same day delivery.
As organisers for some of the biggest concerts, events, and festivals, they’ll often find themselves with advanced delivery needs but also emergency last-minute needs to get something delivered to one of their live event locations.
The Consignment
We have delivered locally, nationally, and internationally for our client, delivering everything from a singular light bulb to a full stage lighting rig.
Some of the consignments we’ve been tasked to deliver include stages, sound gear, lighting fixtures, screens, AV gear, barricades. From audience-facing materials, to delivering items crucial to the behind-the-scenes production such as stage ladders, we’ve delivered it all—floor to ceiling.
Many of the items we deliver for them are large, heavy, and sometimes abnormal size deliveries. We often deal with high-value goods that require extra careful handling and delivery. Our delivery crews across our network are experienced with delivering bulky, overweight, and fragile items.
Whether transporting some lightbulbs or priceless one-of-a-kind stage gear and accessories, Speedy Freight always offer dedicated delivery. This means we never co-load our client’s consignments, so that their goods are the only ones on the delivery vehicle, allowing them to get their quickly and be stored properly, preventing potential damage and reducing the risk of getting delivered to the wrong address.
With access to a fleet of 4,000 vehicles, we always have the right vehicle for the job, and for this client, we’ve used everything from a small van to an artic to deliver items from the UK to Ibiza.
