With 27 years of logistics experience in the Royal Air Force, including tours in Germany and Saudi Arabia, he brings a deep understanding of logistics operations to the business. Outside of work, Simon is keen on endurance sports and is currently training for an Ironman triathlon in 2026. He also supports Manchester City, loves spending time with his family, and going out walking with his Labrador Milo.

Steve joined Speedy Freight in November 2016 as a Business Development Manager. Since then, he has worked across various areas of the business, gaining valuable experience that now supports him in his current role as Branch Manager. He is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and driving continued growth and success for the branch. Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, going on holiday, hiking, watching sports, and attending music events.

Daulton is a results-driven Business Development Manager with experience spanning multinational corporations and agile SMEs. He excels in building strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering long-term value for clients and stakeholders. Outside of work, Daulton is a keen cyclist and traveller with a strong interest in AI automation and global macro trading. He regularly explores how technology and economic trends influence both business strategy and personal development.

Mark joined Speedy Freight Doncaster as a Business Development Manager in February 2024. His responsibilities include generating new business, upselling to existing accounts, and preparing structured weekly sales plans and revenue reports. He brings valuable experience from his previous role as an Account Director in the Direct Marking industry. Away from work, Mark enjoys Rugby League and cricket, often spending Saturdays at the local cricket club with his father. He and his wife lead a busy family life, regularly entertaining their eight grandchildren.

Jay originally joined Speedy Freight in March 2018 as an apprentice, starting out as an Operations Assistant. He later progressed to a Business Development Manager role, covering the Doncaster, Hull, and York areas. After spending over five years with the business, he moved into an Account Manager position in another industry, gaining valuable experience in client management. Jay has now returned to Speedy Freight as Operations Manager, combining his operational and account management expertise to help drive the business to the next level. Outside of work, Jay enjoys spending time in the gym, following Manchester City, attending house and techno music events, and being with his fiancée.

Jordan began her career with the team in 2020 as an apprentice and has since progressed into the role of Operations Assistant. She is passionate about helping customers navigate logistical challenges and takes pride in providing effective, tailored solutions. In her spare time, Jordan enjoys walking her dog, taking part in pub quizzes, and spending time with friends.

Tia joined the team as an apprentice in 2021 and now holds the role of Operations Assistant. She enjoys building relationships with customers and speaking with new people every day, playing an integral role in the branch’s service delivery. During the weekend, Tia enjoys socialising with friends, shopping, and discovering new restaurants.

Hope is currently undertaking a sales apprenticeship with a focus on indoor sales, while also supporting the operations team to ensure the smooth running of daily activities. Her dual involvement allows her to contribute effectively across departments. Outside of the office, Hope enjoys quality time with friends and family, particularly on sunny weekends with a pink gin in hand.
