With over two decades of experience in the dynamic world of logistics, Dan boasts an impressive background in nationwide shipping, imports and exports, and fleet and supply chain management. Outside of work, Dan’s zest for life shines through his diverse range of hobbies. When he’s not immersed in the logistics world, you’ll find him embracing the great outdoors. He’s an avid sports enthusiast, with a special passion for football, golf, and his latest pursuit, mountain biking. Dan is also a dedicated family man. His role as a proud father of two energetic young boys keeps him constantly entertained and reminds him to cherish every moment and allows him to channel his “inner kid” alongside them.

With over 8 years of experience in logistics, including a year at Speedy Freight in 2022, Alex has returned to the Speedy Southampton team. This decision was fuelled by his love of interaction with customers and drivers. When not delivering exceptional service, he enjoys a strong cup of tea and cherishes time spent with his two little boys. His favourite jobs to complete for customers are urgent same day deliveries and he prides himself on the team’s ability to deliver on time, every time.

Russell, originally from Lincoln, spent five years living on Dartmoor before joining the Army in the Royal Armoured Corps. After 11 years in the military, he transitioned to a 37-year career in media, working as an Account Manager at an advertising agency. During the Brexit transition, he ventured into the world of freight and logistics during, achieving Level 2 training in Customs Procedures and is now Speedy Freight Southampton’s Business Development Manager. In his free time, he enjoys pub walks in Dorset and The New Forest with his wife Claire and their Romanian rescue puppy Toffee, as well as cooking and reading.

Will has been a key part of the Speedy Freight logistics team since joining early in 2024, he constantly brings energy, reliability, and top-tier customer service to everything he does. A vital member of the team, he’s known for going the extra mile, Will plays a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly and customers happy.  Outside of work, he channels the same energy into training Muai Thai, playing football, producing music in his home studio or enjoying a live gig whenever he can.
