The awards ceremony is set to take place on Thursday, 19 January 2023 at The Brewery right in the heart of London. The 2022 BIFA Freight Awards ceremony will be hosted by English football legend, Kevin Keegan.
BIFA Freight Awards history
The BIFA Freight Awards competition is now in its 34th year, and is considered one of the most prestigious in the logistics industry. Last year, the event was hosted by former England rugby star, Matt Dawson.
For this year’s event, we’re honoured to be among more than 25 freight forwarding companies nominated for awards for services to the logistics industry.
About the Staff Development Award
The BIFA Freight Services Award for staff development acknowledges the commitment of freight forwarding companies, like Speedy Freight, to developing and training staff.
When selecting companies for nomination, BIFA judges are looking for businesses that ‘encourage and develop all personnel to be their best.’
BIFA’s official website states: “BIFA Members, whatever their size, need comprehensive training programmes to keep abreast of regular changes in regulations, industry practices and general business matters.
“In the Staff Development Award category, the judges want to understand how you encourage and develop all personnel to ‘be their best’ and contribute to the success and direction of your business.”
