Simon has a passion for the freight industry, and Man City. After serving in the RAF for 27 years working in logistics, he founded the York branch. Steve was one of the first employees to work at the branch, which was a total change from a sports coach for Scunthorpe United & Doncaster Rovers. Steve’s known as the ‘font of fleet knowledge’ amongst colleagues and loves to solve express delivery problems.
Jay joined the logistics team in 2018 as an apprentice and has worked his way up through the business. He’s a massive Man City fan, works out, and loves music festivals. Jordan also started off in the team as an apprentice and really enjoys helping customers with their freight issues. When it’s time to unwind, she’s out with her friends and family.
The teams final apprentice, Tia, has worked for Speedy Freight for just over a year. Helping the operations team with their haulage jobs, and ensuring customer satisfaction, sums up her day-to-day role. She likes nothing more than to binge on Netflix after a day in the office. After also working within logistics in the RAF for over 20 years, Kirsten joined the same day delivery industry. She’s a keen Bolton Wanderers fan and loves to go for walks with her dogs and children.
